Sweetland Trash Service

The Town of Corydon contracted with Sweetland to provide garbage collection and disposal, beginning September 2024.  Residential customers ($17/month) with weekly pickup may put out 2-3 standard 33 gallon cans per pickup.  Business customers ($20/month) with weekly pickup may put out 3-4 standard 33 gallon cans per pickup.  Cans are provided by the customer, as has always been the case.  Cans should be put out at the curb or sidewalk for pickup.  Loose trash will not be picked up.  A 95 gallon Toter with lid may be purchased from Sweetland.  Call them for details.  Dumpster rates are based on size and frequency of pickups per week.  If you need additional items pickup up, or trash amounts larger than standard pickup, call Sweetland for details at 812-944-5642.  There will be an additional charge.

The Town of Corydon will continue to pick up yard waste, leaves, and limbs as in the past.  Call the Town Hall to request pickup of these items by our Street Dept.

Areas south of Walnut ST are picked up on Monday.  Areas north of Walnut ST, or north and west of Indian Creek, are picked up on Tuesdays.  A holiday will delay pickup by one day.
