Welcome to the Town Hall FAQ

  • My neighbor has high weeds, what can I do?

    You can call the Town Hall and lodge a complaint. The Board member of the ward in which you live will be contacted. They may contact the owner of the home personally, or they may have a letter sent to the owner of the home giving them 10 days to rectify the situation. If the grass is not mowed within the 10 day timeline, the Town’s Street Department will mow the lawn and charge the owners for the labor.

    The Town Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 - 4:00. The phone number is 812-738-3958.

  • Who do I talk to about my water bill?

    Lori or Cathy at the front desk will be glad to help you with any questions you may have regarding your water bill.
