Parks
All of our parks are open to the public and are open for use by anyone. We do allow the parks to be reserved for special events on a first come, first served basis, only after written approval from the Town Manager or Town Council. Even when reserved, parks are STILL OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC. There is a $50 non-refundable reservation fee and other park rules as outlined in our “Park Reservation Form” with the button below:
Park Reservations
Rice Island Park
Rice Island Park is open from sunrise to dusk each day. It is accessible by vehicles via a low water crossing from Valley RD, or by foot from the iron trestle bridge off E Chestnut ST. There is a small playground on the E Chestnut ST side of the walking bridge and public restrooms by the playground. Restrooms are locked overnight. The park has a shelter house with picnic tables and some additional seating. There is also a limited interior shelter house only open by reservation. Electricity is available on the island, but water is not available. The park is monitored by video cameras for safety.
NOTE: You may reserve the park shelter house and grassy area all day. All Day = 8 AM to Dusk.

Bi-Centennial Park
Bi-Centennial Park is open 24 hours a day and is located between E Chestnut ST and E Poplar ST in the 200 block in downtown Corydon. On street parking is available as is a public parking lot off E Poplar ST. Various events are held here year-round and many weekends are not available for reservation. There is a gazebo at the E Poplar ST end of the park that may be used for concerts, etc. Public restrooms are located to the east, less than a block away at the Farmers Market on E Poplar ST. Restrooms are open from sunrise to sunset.
NOTE: You may reserve the park gazebo and grassy area all day. All Day = 8 AM to Dusk.

Farmers Market
The Corydon Farmers Market is an outdoor covered pavilion that is used on Friday evenings from May 1 st to October 31 st as an open-air farmers market. It is located at 124 S Mulberry ST near downtown Corydon. It may be reserved for private use at other times outside of Friday evenings. Water and electricity are both available. There is ample public parking around the market and public restrooms in the corner of the lot. Restrooms are open from sunrise to sunset.
